Staging and Design Concept: Sample Scenarios
Scenario 1:
Pat puts their house on market with an asking price of $300k based on comparables that are in the $270k to $350k range. After 3 months they do a 10% price drop. After another 3 months they drop the price again by 8%. Their house sells for $250k in 184 days (based on average time on market for homes that have not engaged in a staging service).
Scenario 2:
Pat puts the same house on market with a staging service and virtual design concept that cost $3,000* with only $500 up front. It sells in 23 days (based on the average time on market for homes that have engaged in staging services prior to sale).
